There are many people who want to be part of movements for social change, but they don’t always know how. Annette Adler and I wrote Come Along as an invitation to people of conscience to take that first step toward getting involved and acting in solidarity with others. This is a feel-good song with a great groove that makes you want to clap your hands and move your body. The chorus quotes the poet Emma Lazarus, whose words appear on the Statue of Liberty, when we sing, “None of us are free until all of us are free.”
